Hatching Egg Policy
By purchasing hatching eggs from Perkins Poultry Palace & DNA Lab, you acknowledge and accept the following terms.
Fertility and Hatch Rates
Our breeding groups are monitored, and reasonable efforts are made to provide fresh, fertile hatching eggs.
However, fertility and hatch rates are not guaranteed.
Hatch results can be affected by factors outside our control, including:
- Shipping and handling
- Incubator quality
- Incubator temperature
- Humidity
- Turning schedules
- Storage conditions
- Power interruptions
- Postal delays
- Customer handling
- Individual egg development
Once eggs leave our property, we cannot control their transportation, storage, or incubation.
Shipping Risks
Hatching eggs are packaged carefully, but carrier handling remains outside our control.
Shipping may result in:
- Cracks
- Detached air cells
- Scrambled contents
- Temperature exposure
- Delays
- Reduced hatchability
Shipped hatching eggs are not eligible for refunds, returns, or replacements because of poor hatch rates or shipping-related development issues, except where required by law.
Local Pickup
Locally collected hatching eggs are sold as-is.
No hatch-rate guarantee is provided for picked-up eggs.
Availability
Hatching eggs depend on:
- Breeding season
- Laying frequency
- Fertility
- Weather
- Current reservations
- Flock health
Availability may change without notice.
Reservations
Payment is required in full before hatching eggs are reserved.
Unpaid orders are not considered confirmed.
Orders are fulfilled according to availability and the agreed pickup or shipping schedule.
Cancellations
Hatching egg orders are nonrefundable once reserved, collected, packaged, or prepared for shipment.
Extra Eggs
Additional eggs may occasionally be included when available. Extra eggs are a courtesy and are not guaranteed.
Customer Responsibility
By purchasing hatching eggs, the customer accepts responsibility for:
- Transportation
- Storage
- Incubation
- Equipment
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Turning
- Hatch results
